Dolomia at the starting block of Giro d’Italia 2013

Starting tomorrow, the water from the Dolomites will be running together with Giro champion riders

Tomorrow marks the start of Dolomia water’s racing adventure. In fact, in just a few hours, the Giro d’Italia 2013 will get underway and Dolomia water will be running together with the convoy of Italy's best-loved championship bike tour.

“Bike racing is considered to be one of the most exhausting sports, requiring determination and physical stamina,” says Gilberto Zaina, managing director of Dolomia water. “Therefore, water is a precious element for champions who need to reach the finish line and Dolomia will be supplying 0.5 l PET Classic bottles to those taking part in the race. We are a main sponsor of this national sporting event and we are proud that the water from the Dolomites will be traveling along with the Giro through all its 21 stages. It is an opportunity to give national visibility to our home region and to promote one of the main natural resources of our community,” concludes Zaina.

Dolomia will also be distributed as a gadget, in its new 0.33 l PET Elegant format, to race fans along the route during the eleventh "Tarvisio-Vajont" leg (on May 15), when the convoy will be in the heart of the Friuli region and will pass through the Val Cimoliana where the water’s springs flow.

At finish line of each stage, this Friuli-based company will be present with its own stand in the Open Village.
